Expand Welcome to the Free Worlds League community website. This site represents the the single largest group of House Marik players within MechWarrior Online. It is a collection of players and units who have joined in solidarity for the glory of the FWLM. Here, you will find hundreds of players with similar interests. Some players have been loyal to Free Worlds League for years, even decades. Some have pledged their allegiance to House Marik due to the community that has been built up since the beginning of MWO closed beta. FWLM Information and Application: If you want to take your first step into the most powerful and organized faction of the Inner Sphere, you can fill out this application form . It will be evaluated and approved within 24 hours after submission. If you want to know more about the history and canon of the Free Worlds League, there are a few sources available such as Sarna , MWO Wiki and Battletech.com . There are members here that will follow the same types of inner politics that are canon to the Battletech/MechWarrior universe. While this adds flavor to the game experience, this is not required for belonging to the House Marik community. FWLM Forums: The forums are a great source of information. Members are free to post questions and find answers about House Marik, house units, mech builds, tactics and virtually everything besides. The site is active with dedicated members who have as much enthusiasm about the universe and the game as anybody else. We have information on Introductions, General discussions and Unit Activities. FWLM Active Units: The Free Worlds League Military (FWLM) encompasses several House Military Units. These Units are the backbone of the FWLM community. Each FWLM unit is unique, and incorporates different policies and play-styles. You can find the list of current active units and contact information here. Although we encourage players to find a unit they feel best fits their play-style , unit membership is not a requirement of the community. It is however; required that your loyalty be first to the FWLM. FWLM Private TeamSpeak 3 Server: The FWLM incorporates a private TeamSpeak server. This is where you would find most of the community when playing MWO. Here you can speak to players and Unit Commanders personally. You will find all players on the server welcoming and helpful. All players who log in will be abiding by a community Code of Conduct. This CoC assures that all players have a positive experience. Once your application is approved, you will have access to the information for our TeamSpeak server. This is 20 slots past the 25 free slots provided by the website plan and has a support cost of $7.96 a month. The server funding is low for TS and for the Website. Therefore, the present caretakers of the FWLM have created a Discord server as a fall-back plan. To recieve an invite to the FWLM Discord, ask around on the TS server or in MWO. We are trying to add most of the current regulars to the Discord server and hopefully you will not have too much trouble getting an invite to the Discord server from one of them.
